— SINGAPORE — MOVEMENT & MINDFULNESS COACH
Strong enough
to be still
I've spent a lifetime testing what a body can do — on a gymnastics beam, a rugby field, a running track, and eventually, a yoga mat — so I could get better at the harder skill: noticing what my body, and my mind, actually need. That's what I teach now.

— NOT JUST A YOGA TEACHER
Movement, in service of people
For a long time, "yoga teacher" was the tidy line on my business card. It's true. It's just not the whole story — and it's not really the point. The point has always been using movement to help people feel steadier, in their bodies and everywhere else.
Before the mat, there was the beam — gymnastics from age seven to sixteen, which taught me how to fall without flinching. At seventeen I picked up touch rugby, played it for years, and only recently retired as a player. Both disciplines pulled me back in as a coach: these days that's five to seven gymnastics sessions and three days of rugby a week, working with kids. Somewhere in there, running found me too; I was a sprinter back in secondary school, and I never really stopped.
Yoga has been the throughline since 2013 — not a replacement for any of it, just the practice that gave the rest of it somewhere to land, and the clearest version of the same mission: help a person move a little better, and feel a little more like themselves.
