Back to where it all began: Yoga and community in Singapore.

Returning to Singapore after nearly three years away feels like rediscovering a rhythm that never truly left me. This is where my yoga journey took root in 2013, where I first connected with the mat and found a community that shaped me—not just as a practitioner, but as a teacher. Now, stepping back onto the mat here, it feels like coming full circle.

The journey that led me back

Leaving Singapore was a difficult yet essential decision, marking a pivotal moment in my journey of growth and self-discovery. When I moved to France, I had no clear sense of how long my stay would be, nor could I foresee how long it would take to find the answers I sought. Instead, I surrendered to life's unfolding journey.

France challenged me in ways I never anticipated. It reshaped my practice, broadened my perspective, and deepened my understanding of yoga. Yet, through every shift and transformation, Singapore remained a quiet pull, always destined to call me back. When I left, Wiy Yoga was just beginning to take shape, and my departure felt like pressing pause rather than turning the page. The connections we built remained, waiting to be rekindled. Now, as I return, I am deeply grateful for your enthusiasm and keen interest in flowing with me once again on the mat.

A return to what truly matters

Being back feels like a reunion—not just with places, but with people who have walked this journey with me. True belonging isn’t just about geography; it’s about the energy we share when we move, breathe, and flow together.

At my first class back, I realized that time and distance hadn’t created separation—they had only strengthened the bond we share. Yoga is timeless. Whether it’s the first class back or the hundredth, every session is an opportunity to reconnect—with ourselves, each other, and the present moment.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that growth isn’t always about seeking more—it’s about returning to what truly matters. Yoga teaches us the quiet strength of self-compassion, the grace of beginning again, and the wisdom in coming home to ourselves.

To those of you returning—to the mat, to a familiar place, or to a version of yourself you thought you left behind—know that every step back is still a step forward. There is no perfect pose, no final destination, only the practice of showing up, again and again, with an open heart.

Flowing forward, together

Now that I’m back, I’m excited to share the lessons and experiences I’ve gathered along the way. More than ever, I’m committed to creating a space where we can explore movement, breath, and connection together.

I’m introducing a new monthly yoga series, thoughtfully designed to explore themes of personal and collective growth. Whether you're new to yoga or returning to your practice, this space is always open to you. Let’s move, breathe, and evolve—together.
